The Chinese government “systematically dismantled” CIA spying operations in the country starting in late 2010 and killed or imprisoned at least a dozen CIA sources over the next two years, it was reported on Saturday.

The New York Times cited 10 current and former US officials, who described the intelligence breach as one of the worst in decades. They spoke on condition of anonymity.

In an apparent attempt by China to intimidate serving or would-be spies, one source was reportedly shot in front of his colleagues in the courtyard of a government building.

Well... it ain't throwing traitors out of choppers, but given how some of you feel about the "Deep State".... this a win, right?

The win here is that the administration who allowed this to happen is no longer in charge. The deep state would rather be executed than told to stay the fuck out of domestic politics. That is not a "win" for anybody.

In general, Asian countries place a lower value on human life than the West. That just seems to be the way they are. If you read about Mao, NK, Cambodia, or Vietnam they don't really care about their own citizens. Of course, all those countries practiced Marxism as well, which does not respect human anywhere it is put in use, so you have a recipe for wholesale human slaughter.
