Eventually this type of shit will lead to violence. It's about the redress of grievences. When it's clear you can no longer trust the system, it will lead to social violence. Look at France.

Mimetic desire and scapegoating are certainly a thing that drives men to do good and evil. Most people that complain about anything are usually simply "venting" and few people ever "do" anything. And then when the few do something i.e. street violence the "State" comes down and stomps them into powder.

Former FBI director James B. Comey accused President Trump on Monday of trying “to burn down the entire FBI” and charged that congressional Republicans were willing accomplices for failing to challenge him.

“The FBI’s reputation has taken a big hit because the president with his acolytes has lied about it constantly,” Comey told reporters, following his second closed-door interview this month with House lawmakers running a politically divisive investigation into how federal law enforcement officials handled probes of the Trump campaign’s alleged Russia ties and Hillary Clinton’s emails.

But Comey directed his vitriol not just at the GOP members of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees, but at all Republicans — including retiring GOP lawmakers, such as Sens. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who have openly criticized Trump but aren’t seeking reelection.

“At some point, someone has to stand up and face the fear of Fox News, fear of their base, fear of mean tweets, stand up for the values of this country and not slink away into retirement but stand up and speak the truth,” Comey said, without naming names.

“Republicans used to understand that the actions of a president matter, the words of a president matter, the rule of law matters and the truth matters,” he said. “Where are those Republicans today?”

The joint panel is also expected to interview Lynch behind closed doors Wednesday. No other interviews have been announced.

Facebook suspends 'researcher' who faked Russian interference in Alabama election

In a statement, Facebook said it had yanked "five accounts run by multiple individuals for engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior" and was investigating them.
"We've removed thousands of Pages, Groups and accounts for this kind of behavior, as well as accounts that were violating our policies on spam and coordinated inauthentic behavior during the Alabama special election last year," Facebook said.

Facebook has previously been accused by the US establishment of allowing Russia-linked pages to "sow discord among Americans," but this time there is no finger-pointing at Russia. The mastermind is a reputable US researcher, whose bot-powered effort to drum up support for write-in Republican candidate Mac Watson while smearing the Trump-endorsed Roy Moore, was recently exposed by the New York Times.

While under oath fired FBI Director Comey blamed the decision on an underling for not telling Congress for 9 months about an investigation into candidate Trump before the 2016 election.

The underling, former FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, refuted this and says that it was Comey’s decision to hide this critical information from Congress.

There's something going on there. It appears the rats are trying to establish their defenses, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, all of them.
