Do you guys think Trump has a shot at another term? Who will the Democrats run? Will Sanders run again? What about Clinton? I'm up in the air about all this stuff.

I can't imagine Sanders or Clinton will be back, or Elizabeth Warren or Joe Biden either, seems to me that they're all already too old. Seeing how the dems reacted to that Ossoff guy shows me they're looking for a new Obama, hoping the next savior shows up to save the day from Trumpzilla.

If Trump can make it to 2020 and is reasonably successful I don't see who can beat him, but then again I didn't see anyone that could beat Clinton either. I'm terrible at these threads

Nah not yet. The only reason he won is because he flipped the rust belt and the other candidate was Clinton.

But the dems haven't done anything to get those voters back. I would say the majority are doubling down on the stuff that drove those voters to the GOP in the first place.

Who knows. 2020 is kind of far out and a lot of things can happen. Maybe Trump will pass some really big legislation that a lot of people would like and see continued. Or maybe Trump will become a failure and then the Dems will get the Whitehouse. Or maybe Trump won't run for a second term because by then he will be pushing 74/75 years old by then. Although, one thing that does seem certain in most US elections is that a lot of presidents do get a second term.

Is Hillary's political career basically finished? She is so desperate to get into the White House. I almost wonder if she would try to run as an independent or something, while keeping many of the same platforms as the Democratic Party.

The Dems would be total morons if they do run Hillary for president and I think that she does still kind of holds some sway, in some circles, but I don't see them running her for anything soon and any Dem who is running will probably try to keep their distance away from her.
