My inlaws have a transgender woman over every holiday, he (and yes I still consider it a he) because it looks like a man in drag, and wears enough perfume that the canary dies when he walks by it...

I just wonder what the hell they are thinking because they put themselves in a situation that most people wouldn't want to do in their worst day.

I think a lot of these people are really hurting and many folks pick up on that. Feeling compassion they try to give the transgender comfort and support. Which is fine and good, but if you keep fueling delusional and dysfunctional ideation, then you really do harm out of misplaced compassion.

If this person just likes presenting as the opposite sex, and fully knows how they were born, then it probably will not lead to worsening psychological health. I think where shit goes off the rails is when they truly believe they are literally the opposite sex and expect society to treat them as such in every way. That is bound to create much conflict and lead to alienation and loneliness. People with good intentions pick up on that suffering amd want to alleviate it, but often in the worst way possible.

I do not think this happens to transgender men so much because women who decide to present as men usually realize pretty fast men got a raw deal in this society and few people really care much about men suffering. They know what they are getting into, and as a man who is interested in the actual gender imbalances within our society I salute them. Women giving up their priviledge to live like men get much respect from me. On the other hand, I think a lot of men who decide to present as women desperately want to escape the shitty deal men get in society, so when society does not treat them as inherently valuable just because of their gender, they grow increasingly desperate and angry.


For my part, I think the only way forward is for women in general to grow up and lose the privilege, which really means that men need to stop the double standards and pandering. Do that and a lot of this transgender shit goes away, in my humble opinion.

For instance, if I were a woman I would deeply resent the notion that my successes along with my failures should be attributed to others. Every time women blame men for their failures and crimes, or get lighter sentences for those crimes, I would get even angrier.

At the same time, I see homeless men almost every day. I know society cares fuck all about them. I go to church and literally all the appeals to treat homelessness are explicitly framed in terms of how many women are given homes and resources, even though women compose less than ten percent of the homeless population, and virtually all welfare is designed to benefit women at men's expense. It would be nice if society gave maybe half a shit turd about men, much less parity with women.

That type of shit is driving transgenderism, not sexuality or any other nominal excuse.

So Easter was a clusterfuck.

That transgender was was there. Had his Adam’s apple shaved, so sounds less like a man, but a woman with congestion.

What made me tell my wife that if he acts like he did on Easter again, I’m not bringing Peter along.

He was sitting on my sister-in-laws’ girlfriends lap. Arm around each other’s waist and talking.
