When his only solutions to the problem all involve government intervention and he calls himself an eco-fascist, that's pretty extreme.
That's not true either. People should take personal responsibility. It's no good waiting for governments to pull their fingers out of their arse.
Push more of that angle then, and less of the government power grabs. Protip.

''government power grabs'' is just in your head.
Try to be more specific about proposed solutions. Protip.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

As long as the green doomsayers refuse to consider nuclear energy I can't believe they are serious about solving the energy emissions problem. Is there a true crisis or is it just something that gets used to push pet agendas?
There are environmental reasons for opposing nuclear energy. I don't personally support them but they have some validity.

Bad example. Chernobyl power plant was as much about making nuclear weapons as energy. It's not the kind of plant that anybody builds today (or should).

It really isn't in my head, most of your suggestions involve raising taxes or banning shit.

Carlus's list?

Or my list
I don't eat any kind of meat, I don't use any kind of straw and as soon as I can afford one I'll drive an electric car.
Specific is a problem word for you isn't it.

Let me search and see if I can find a Sesame Street explanation of it that you can follow.

I don't. That's the point.
If you want to accuse me of wanting big government as the only solution to the climate crisis you have to give examples or we are just back to calling each other names you gormless wazzock.
