As long as the green doomsayers refuse to consider nuclear energy I can't believe they are serious about solving the energy emissions problem. Is there a true crisis or is it just something that gets used to push pet agendas?

There are environmental reasons for opposing nuclear energy. I don't personally support them but they have some validity.

Bad example. Chernobyl power plant was as much about making nuclear weapons as energy. It's not the kind of plant that anybody builds today (or should).
