This is not to say that there will be One World Kumbaya nor anything like that, there will be conflict inevitably, but conflict along the lines of topographical borders, territorial conquest, and unitary sovereigns, will simply become an anachronism, people will fight, but they won't fight over that anymore, because it is already on the cusp of irrelevance, in actual fact, we're not even fighting along those lines now, never mind a century from now.

We're still living in the wreckage of the twentieth century, but already we're fighting a futuristic paradigm which makes Prokhorovka seem about as relevant as the Pyramids in Egypt.

Nope, even the topographical conflict you believe yourself to be in now is not topographical at all, your southern wall to be the bulwark against the future is entirely metaphorical, you're fighting a meme war already, but the actual frontier, cannot be found on a map.

Your whole fantasy of an uprising against the future is of course doomed, whatever helps you pass the time, but your losing the meme war at the strategic level, inexorably, your tactical game of meme checkers is a pointless diversion in the end.

The trajectory is clear tho, you lose this war, in fact, in America, it's more of a speed bump than a war, you're already deep behind the lines, to reach the front lines, you'd have to go to Waziristan or Somalia or some such place on the fringes of the empire.

What, Rome? The ultimate open borders society, if the path of Rome you follow, then every man a Roman you will make, that was the whole point of Rome in the end.

The free movement of peoples in the face of anachronistic borders no longer relevant, is the very thing the Romans fought for, and what the Barbarians all fought against.
