My communication style is pretty abrupt for most people’s taste: 1 fact at a time, at most 3, but 1 is best. I lose interest after the 2nd paragraph of text, often after the first. Actually, I think most people are like that.

p.s. I have to force myself to read StA’s posts. If they weren’t good, I wouldn’t even bother, but they usually are good.
I actually like your style, don't change it, but you never switch up except when you tell stories, and those are some of your best posts.

You should do that more often about other subjects, but stick to your style in general.

A little variety every now an then wouldn't hurt, all I'm saying.

Have you looked into water vapor and how it is incorporated to the models?
Can't say I have.
What should I know?

What should you know? Weird question. I'm just asking how much you have delved into the subject. My experience is that it is a mess with no definitive answers, fraught with political agendas and money to be saved or made. I'd be grateful for any info that is devoid of both.

He's talking about the fact that water vapour is the leading greenhouse factor. Clouds keeping the heat in on a cold night etc.
It's one of the denier's talking points.
Like "but it snows more in Antarctica than before".
What neither argument takes into account is that increased temperatures lead to more water vapour in the atmosphere so it is a part of a feedback loop for rising temps and explains the increased snowfall.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

The greenhouse gas theory seems pretty tight to me.

Also seems that we are going to be dealing with the effects of warming secondary to it for the foreseeable future...

But we can adapt as a species... and we will.

Will there be major geopolitical ramifications?

Undoubtedly... but the plus side of this age of oil still outweighs the downside... We wouldn't have overcome scarcity and entered the digital age the way we did without it

I see no reason to demonize oil... many of the major oil companies are already making adjustments for what comes next... they are planning 50 years into the future and they themselves aren't in denial about climate change.

I think we should work with big oil... they want to survive the century too...

Oh goody, another person here to tell me what I think.
Am I wrong? If so how? And be careful, people will call you out on it pretty damned quickly here.
Yes you are. I am not against nuclear power in the short term.
You are either pregnant or not.

Nuclear power is not a short term game you are either for it or against it.

We have to act soon or the coastal cities will be destroyed forever by rising ocean levels.. Imagine how terrible the world would be without Democrat cities.

I'm all for flooding the fuckers out and starting over. It appears to me coastal cities need to purged every 300 years.
