Nigel Farage was on "question time" tonight, our leading political panel show.
He sat there grinning like a demented Cheshire cat as it was discussed that the new leader of his party wants to privatise the NHS. That Brexit campaign bus he drove around in had £350 million a week to spend on the NHS plastered in 6' high letters along the side of it. So now we know they were lying about both.
Other than that he went on about 200 new mosques being built in Germany and sucked up to Putin as a leading light on immigration and nationalism.
I am so happy he has failed every time he's stood as an MP. At least 5 times IIRC.

What is with everyone's love of Putin lately. I have a lot of respect for the man, but I would never admire him. I feel like every time i turn around another politician is saying they admire Putin.

Hey, if you lead and kill bitches that are just going to bitch, you still lead. Putin the Great will be Putin the Great until he's dead.

You're going to speak well of him because he doesn't take kindly to bitches, and if you can't play the game don't be a player.

Yeah I don't get it either. I've admired the man for years flaws and all but now it's getting weird to see all kinds of politicians suddenly gushing about him. Something fucky is going on.

To be honest Farage is a fuckwit. He's a one trick pony who just shouts "out" whatever question you ask him. It wasn't really fair of them to ask him questions about complicated international affairs.

He does have his whole schtick thing about him but it's weird seeing Putin as part of the nationalist starter kit that politicians are using. He doesn't need to be in that kit.

The ssu posts and Hilary campaign are starting to fuck with my head maybe.

Well you can have a certain amount of respect for the power Putin has built up around him but not one jot for how he has gone about getting that power.

Well I can. I respect Realpolitik and what he's managed to boot strap together with a commanding and cool demeanor. Crimea is Russian clay 8-)

At any rate it's the West's bungling that has helped him more than whatever else he's done to help himself.

But it's not really effective, Putin rails impotently from the Kremlin, but nothing in Russia works as it supposed to and nobody actually follows his orders, so Putin's power is an illusion. I mean, good lord, he can't even effectively collect taxes, which is the primary strategic impetus of all state power.
