Weed is a gateway drug.

I thought they were using MDMA for therapy years ago. I guess the FDA is moving forward with it but I think in some cases psychiatrists could get sanctioned to do it in a controlled setting.

Yeah, I think they used it on college kids. Probably MKUltra.

Have you ever tried MDMA? It can be therapeutic.

I think it was originally used for therapy, then went recreational, and now is swinging back to the therapy again.TheReal_ND wrote:I thought they were using MDMA for therapy years ago. I wholly believe it can be a therapeutic drug, but its always going to be more fun than therapeutic. I guess a small clinical dose will do different things to you than me dropping 3 pills cut with speed and dancing all night like I used to

Re: FDA trials for ecstasy for PTSD
I think they use pure MDMA in a clinical setting so it's a lot cleaner and less is needed. Basically all it does is force your brain to drop its serotonin all at once, which probably renders it conducive to re-wiring with positive thoughts. In the case of PTSD I bet it's quite effective at getting people to walk through what happened and at least temporarily become at peace with it. That probably has a long lasting residual effect.
