I'm bullish on F-35, whatever the limitations imposed on it by the original program requirements, it still beats both Super Bug and Super Viper.

I think the F-35 is a good plane, I just think they have spent way too much on it to make it a viable one though... the R&D cost that has gone into it, has shown little to justify the overall cost. This is like the armored personnel carriers, the R&D that went into it was in the billions, but what came out of it had to be revised... The Israelis did more to it, and then put it into production... in reality though it was a giant boondoggle.

I am starting to feel that the F-35 is starting to fall the same way.

Like I said, whatever, I'm only interested in the actual truth about the jet, the bullshit is piled so high at this point, I don't think it makes any difference, the caterwauling about F-35 will persist until it flies in combat, at which point, F-35 will shut everybody up, by getting in and out, rounds on target on time, not only unstopped, but undetected.

No doubt. I am merely pointing out that while Trump is obviously lying, that lie plays to his advantage no matter how much the F-35 ends up costing.

The costs were imposed by Congress in 1995, when they set the bar for the requirments to the moon, Lockmart has actually done an amazing job, to get as close to the original requirements as they have, nobody else could have done it, I'm a big Lockmart fan, they're actually awesome. F-35 is the key, which opens the airspace everywhere, all day everyday, which is the backbone of American military supremacy, without F-35, you're heading back to the airspace over North Vietnam, ouch.

Going to be exponentially more expensive to do it without the man in the loop, the human brain is the cheapest option, Commander Data the most expensive.
