According to multiple sources inside ESPN — Cohn declined comment when reached by Outkick — ESPN president John Skipper called Cohn and screamed at her for having the gall to share her opinion in public and told her to stay at home instead of coming to work that weekend. Why was Cohn to stay at home? So, according to an irate John Skipper, she could have time to think about what she had said.
When Outkick reached out to ESPN seeking comment on the Cohn story, ESPN’s PR staff refused to explain anything about the decision, responding via email: “The last time we responded with an explanation, you called us liars.”
Stephen K. Bannon believes the firing of FBI Director James B. Comey by President Trump was the biggest mistake “maybe in modern political history.”
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that if James Comey had not been fired,” Bannon told interviewer Charlie Rose, “we would not have a special counsel.”
“We would not have the Mueller investigation in the breadth that clearly Mr. Mueller is going,” he added, referring to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s appointment to investigate any possible connection between Trump or his campaign with Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
I don't agree. Comey proved he was not a competent or unbiased leader. Justification was there, yes there is Fallout, so what. Comey wasn't doing a good job.ssu wrote:If it's not already been mentioned.
Bannon got it 100% right and on the mark:

If Trump had just kept his cool, the FBI would have later produced a result to the inquiry that "yes, Russia was active in the 2016 elections" like a year or two from now. But no. One of the biggest fuckups somebody has done...

Another employee recently contacted Outkick and said, “I pretend I’m a Democrat so I can keep my job here. And there are others just like me. We’re like a secret society inside ESPN.”
What outsider? You think those Goldman Sachs guys and other billionaires Trump administration is formed are outsiders? And what intolerance? Trump's pro-NATO, went for adding troops to Afghanistan. Eased financial rules for Wall Street. In reality, Trump hasn't posed any threat to the establishment. Some Ron Paul might have. But Trump's no Ron Paul.C-Mag wrote: I don't agree. And I'm highly suspect that there would not have been a Special Counsel. Firing Comey was merely an excuse, not the reason. The reason is intolerance of the establishment for an outsider.
