You'd have to be a profoundly sick individual to celebrate the nuking of NYC.apeman wrote:We're in trouble, traditionally, an external threat would be concocted to unify a nation, and right here and now, I don't even think nuclear war would draw us together
I mean, raise your hand in here if you would cheer if NYC nuked?

Some would.

I'm not really sure they understand the ramifications of what they'd be cheering on.

Re: Unite the Right
Horror aside, if we lost NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, and Seattle all at once, I think the republic could actually be saved. Consider that while you get all butthurt about people joking about it.
These cities are the source of all the mayhem and dysfunction. In a purely evil and utilitarian calculus, incinerating them would be like removing a cancerous tumor.
Attempts at trying to reason with you people fail. Attempts at trying to get you to see how horrible you have become fail. Attempts at just convincing you to live and let live fail. You have become like an aggressive cancer trying to spread across the republic and basically kill it.
Is it any wonder a lot people secretly fantasize about somebody nuking those places?

But play out an actual nuking of one American city in your mind. Actually think about it. Is martial law and WW3 really worth having whatever-you-think-your-culture-is saved from being contested?

Re: Unite the Right
Generalizing everyone on the internet as "you people", as if the entire world is against you, and you're the sole stakeholder and arbiter of what being an American is, probably isn't healthy.

A bronze statue of George Washington on horseback stands at the corner of 51st and King Drive, at the northwest entrance to Washington Park.
Bishop James Dukes, pastor of Liberation Christian Center, said he wants the statue gone, and he wants George Washington’s name removed from the park.
this is fun

I didn't say it was worth it or morally acceptable to incinerate those cities (though I do like to joke about it).
I am just pointing out the obvious fact that it would solve a lot of problems.

Anybody still think DB's point hits the mark, or nah? I think they are imploding right now.
He does make a valid point, and it's hard to get a grasp on what's really going on because the media is just lies and propaganda now. But still.. come on. They really have lost their damned minds.

Re: Unite the Right
I think perhaps the Right should start marching and pulling down leftie statues and memorials... Should make for an interesting show.
