It's his job. He's the president. He can fire the FBI director. He can fire a special prosecutor. There's nothing illegal about it. Obstruction of justice is a defined term, not just what you cry whenever you don't get your way. Not surprised the people who scream racism every time they don't get their way are too ignorant to know this.

There was no ex-FBI director as a special counsel then. There were investigations on Russia's meddling in the elections. There was ONLY Democrats talking about an independent investigator. But for them it was a distant dream as surely the GOP didn't want it.

But then dumbass Trump fires Comey and even doesn't go on with the official line given to him by his team (that it was because of Comey's actions on Hillary), but goes on TV saying that "Yeah, I fired Comey because of the Russia investigation". A goddam thing that the FBI has as it's goddam mission to do, to investigate and counter foreign intelligence operations in the US. WTF do you think then the US Department of Justice can do? It's only Trump himself that put Rosenstein in such posture that he had to act as he did. It's simply hilarious when you think about it.

This is the farcical point of Trump. All he has to do is to shut the fuck up and do nothing, focus on his job as the GOP owns this Congress and the thing would just your average scandal-"gate". Something that would blow over and at worst have some campaign people to be the fallguy. But no, he simply has to blunder again and again. Hence it's likely that Trump will continue to act as he has acted. So quite likely sooner or later we will have something called the "constitutional crisis".
