Pretty sure the Commies don't want it, hence why they are trying to bring the internet under Title II of the Communications Act, while calling it "Net Neutrality!".

See, the Democrats already tried this back in 96' under Clinton, but the Supreme Court shot them down, Title II of the Communications Act, under the rubric of "Muh Roads!", is simply the work around.

The law is unconstitutional? Ok then, Executive Order FTW.

At least now huge Democratic donors like Google and Facebook will be losing major shekels having to pay for their massive bandwidth. That's why liberals are mad, because their Master's told them to throw a fit. The Net Neutrality repeal is full of (((typical tricks))) but it's no excuse to start shilling for Jewgle using their talking points. Tech Companies are 1000 times more dangerous than ISPs, especially with everything that Google had been doing lately. This may be a necessary evil to rein in Tech Giants, but the consequences of this should be watched closely and no one should let their guard down.

Throttling is still regulated under the new rules, unless your are a bandwidth behemoth like NetFlix who tries shirk on paying their share. Although, just because throttling is still technically regulated doesn't meant that ISP's won't throttle sites since they have done it in the past, even against existing regulations. Still, it will mostly be megakike vs megakike.

Indeed, but I simply do not side with either, I do not favour one entrenched corporate interest over another, based on the vagaries of the political whims of the FCC, that is a classic case of leftist aegrescit medendo.

Public-Private Partnership; the worst of all worlds.

aegriscit medendo
Huh. Learned something new. Yes I have seen nothing to refute the fact that the disease worsens with the treatment. Wether it's the 1st or 2nd. Both of those I don't want to cuck on, though in the past I thought that having a no fly no buy as long as there was a 14th supported judicial process made sense. Well, I no longer believe in that.

Quite simply all of these regulations are aimed squarely at me. The internet nazi.

It's aimed at whomever the FCC gets a bee up its bonnet about, at any given moment, based on who is the Temperance Lady in the West Wing.

Back in 96' it was aimed at the pornographers, and they were the ones who took it all the way to the SCOTUS to be shot down.

Fairly certain that they sided with the pornographers on free speech. What are you on about?
