Re: Europe Boring Until it's Not
But what makes this weirder is that I don't think left-right really describes the division at all. Plenty of elected people in the republican party oppose Trump just as much, if not more than, the democratic party seems to oppose him. But I am not convinced every elected person in the democratic party truly opposes Trump's agenda either.
The division is over nationalism versus globalism, with a strong undercurrent of stamping out corruption and cronyism in the federal government (returning the power to the people). In a way, the division is between the American people and what some are calling the deep state, but a good half of the American people are daily brainwashed by the complicit MSM to fight for their deep state overlords.
Weird times..

Yeah, I am sure those out-of-work Kentucky coal miners and Rust Belt factory workers who handed Trump his victory don't really have any opinions on globalism..

Opinions are like assholes. Doesn't mean they smell right.Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:Exactly. But it has nothing to do with globalism either,Speaker to Animals wrote:But what makes this weirder is that I don't think left-right really describes the division at all.

Re: Europe Boring Until it's Not
We must be cast as unreasonable & stupid, or our opinions would have value. There's no need to pay attention to unreasonable stupid people.
p.s. This applies to both sides.
p.p.s. Unless a forum is unmoderated, and I mean UNMODERATED, I get kicked off pretty quick. Hard to call me stupid, better I was gone.
p.p.p.s. Grumps gives as good as he gets.

Well ssu has thick skin and will debate, monte is a thin skinned pussy who needs praise from like-minded forum members or he'll self censor and blame everyone else for shutting down rational conversation.Martin Hash wrote:ssu has been a monster; I don't think he needs protecting.TheReal_ND wrote:Well now that Monty is gone we can quit piling on people now in the Europe thread right?
Be more like ssu, and less like Kath and Monte lefties, hold your ground and quit playing the victim.
