United Airlines is in the process of firing hundreds of employees who refused to get vaccinated against Covid-19, CEO Scott Kirby said Wednesday amid mounting controversy over vaccine mandates at major airlines. Speaking with CBS This Morning, Kirby said 99.7% of the Chicago-based airline’s 67,000 U.S. employees have gotten the jab since its vaccine requirement was announced August 6.
At the time the mandate was introduced, the airline said roughly 90% of its pilots and 80% of its flight attendants had already been vaccinated.
About 600 employees were still refusing the jab in late September, but that number has since dropped to 232, all of whom are now going through the “termination process,” according to Kirby.
So just 232 out of a workforce of 67,000 have chosen to give up their jobs rather than take a life saving vaccination.
Hardly a revolution.
A life saving vaccination that according to VAERS has officially killed roughly 8,000 people in the US, possibly more depending on who you trust. That doesn't even get into if there is any long term damage caused that won't show up for years.
Add to that this is an incredible condescending way of putting it. It being safe and life saving is implied by the word vaccine. It wouldn't be a vaccine if it wasn't safe and life saving. If it was not safe and not life saving it would be categorized as a poison. If you want people to think it is safe and life saving then fucking prove it. Don't just mindlessly tell me something that should be self-evident. I guess, we could get into the definition of a vaccine also, which by definition this "vaccine" arguably does not really apply as it does not seem to provide significant immunity to the virus.

Closing in on 10,000 deaths and 50k reactions, in VAERS, likely way more than that. Some estimate 3x as many.
