I heard it repeated again today that the dems can't win elections if they lose 15% of the black vote. Someone got a link to whatever article or study this figure came from?

Never say Never, it was not that long ago 2010, 2012 range when there were lots of articles that said the GOP would never win major elections again. Their theory was that with immigration, ie the Mexican vote, the Dems had it sowed up and the GOP could never change the numbers.

That’s because they overlooked the religiousness of the black community and the considerable family values of the Hispanic community. Can’t get all the minorities on board and also trash religion and nuclear families.

That's awesome. I wonder why white people like "free trade" more? Wouldn't all the slightly politically aware construction workers, tradesmen, and truck drivers etc. not like the idea of NAFTA etc?

Free trade ain’t bad if it benefits both nations.
The problem is people package up a bunch of political and economic backroom deals that aren’t free trade, slap the “free trade” label on them, and then shove them through.

"free trade" is a euphemistic political slogan for exporting jobs in exchange for the other nation buying our debts.

Just like "pro choice", they cannot just say what they mean because it's indefensible.

Use clear language, not slogans and newspeak.

"pro-life" is just as gay. Anti-abort makes more sense and is clearer.

"Free trade" is actually pro-job offshoring.

Fair trade is also gay. It is more accurate to call it anti-job offshoring.

Progressive.. as if there exists some teleological direction or end to politics, and these guys know the future.

Until we can rename the two world views “Traditionalists who favor time-honored systems of success” and “Losers who want to rewrite the standards of success to favor themselves” we’re stuck using the common vernacular.
