There's a lotta people here convinced they're gonna win. These guys hate you more than you hate them and they'd learn to use arms if it meant wiping your assess off the map. I think they'd fight the fight, even if it meant dying in the purges to come. You never thought your life would be in the hands of the LGBQT-minority hordes, their eyes lit up with fire. I'm a conservative, not a Conservative, I have no party loyalty, I voted three times in a row for Stephen Harper, I gave him 9 years to do anything he promised to do, he didn't do it, so then it became transnational, looked at the two party platforms, picked the one which was the most small c conservative, which happened to be the Liberals in this case, since the Conservatives had by that point begun to be even more liberal than the Liberals themselves, and we don't actually vote for the Prime Minister here, we only vote for our local member of parliament, so it was a vote for the guy who I wanted to send to Ottawa to represent this riding, and again there, the Liberal candidate was slightly less of a jackass than the Conservative who was a total jackass.

I didn't proclaim any such thing, I said it seemed like Trump was in tough and Hillary appeared to be the front runner, but in the end, Capps and Nukedog actually convinced me that it was much closer than the media was claiming because the media was in the bag for the Democrats and the polls were fake news.

Mind you, Nukedog said "Pascal's Wager", as in give Trump a chance, which I have, but honestly, he's turned out to be a big disappointment.

So has Trudeau of course, Trudeau and Trump are cut from the same bullshit artist lightweight populist cloth, and Trump is not more conservative than Trudeau, you Americans invoke Red Team as being conservative, but they're not really, they're no different from the Conservatives here, but that's a brand not an ideology.

In the end, Trudeau has at least come through on the one promise I was transnational about, which is more than I can say for Stephen Harper, who didn't come through for me on even one thing with almost a decade in office to do it.

Well, small c conservative generally refers to limited government and classical liberalism, which, neither the Liberals nor the Conservatives embrace to any relevant degree, so it's a wash, at which point it simply comes down to transnational platform least worst option and least useless candidate to send to Ottawa, mostly based on who is more likely to answer your calls when you try to get a hold of them.
