Pretty sure I've posted this list of the worlds most likely cities to run out of water before but here it is again. Note how only two are in African states (with very little rainfall) and the others include the racially superior Western and Asian cities of Miami, London, Beijing, Tokyo and Moscow.

I'm actually cheering for South Africa to do well as they go through these societal changes. It's completely totalitarian to take these peoples land without decent compensation, but the voted for it. Of course, I will slam them if this thing fails.

If you had your land taken in 1970 and you are still alive, I see no reason is shouldn't be given back to you.
