Backup tendy is David Rittich, he's actually a Czech, he's only played 11 games, but he's got good numbers, 2.41 GAA and .923 SP, and he's big, 6'3" 205 lbs, don't know much about him, he's a free agent from Europe, an enigma wrapped in a mystery as it were.

Dion scores in his first game with the Kings, jumping in off the point, I think Phaneuf can be good down there in LA, or at least not bad, out of the fishbowl, on a veteran team, just one of the boys, they got his contract at a discounted rate, change of scenery, the wife is happy to be in LA, just what the doctor ordered for ol' Dion.

Wanna talk about toxic, no place is more toxic than Ottawa, specially with Harold Ballard Melnyk running the team into the ground.

Just when you thought they couldn't get any more toxic, they bring in the Duchenecancer. Ottawa are the worst, it's true, it's damn true.

All that time we were trashing Gentleman Joe, then he pulls that rabbit out of his hat, not just Sam Girard, but Ottawa's lottery pick too?

Plus even Vladislav Kemenev, I don't think he's gonna be much of a scoring machine, but he's got a big frame, he can play center, and he's one of those Russians who doesn't mind mixing it up in the dirty areas, so potentially a great depth guy, plus didn't you also get a third round pick in the deal too?

Yup, plus Shane Bowers, and a second rounder. We got the third rounder for taking Hammonds contract.
Add it all up and we got 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks, plus Girard, Kamenev, Bowers and Hammond,
Ottawa gets Duchene-cancer,
Nashville gets Turris.

Jimminy Crickets, Ottawa got fleeced, that's gonna be their trading two picks for Phil Kessel moment, sticking in their craw for years to come.

Yeah giving up a likely lottery pick, a third rounder, Kamanev, Bowers and Hammond, Fleece City, right there.

I mean, fer fucks sakes, Duchene only has one year left on the contract, he's gonna be fuck outta there in 18 months, he's gonna be a 1C on the open market, he's not gonna have to ride this dumpster all the way down, he's gonna have teams lining up to give him stoopid money, he'll be able to write his own ticket, not cause he's all that, but just because so many teams are so desperate for centers.
