Stalin is baked into the cake, it needs Stalin, Stalin is the only one to ever implement real socialism, nobody else would do it, not even Lenin, only Stalin has the iron will to collectivise, because in reality, it requires overwhwelming force to implement. The peasants will resist, the bourgeoisie will shirk, the only way to put that down, is to crush them utterly.

Every time they come to power, they are confronted with the Stalin paradox, the idealism quicky goes away, as they encounter ever more resistance from the peasants and ever more shirking from the bourgeoisie, they only start off with a little bit of Stalin at first, but that's how Stalin started off too, the 1920s only look idealistic in a relative sense, because "if you were alive in the 1920's, in the 1930's you weren't", but, Stalin gotter done, real socialism implemented, come hell or high water or 20 million dead.

7 million peasants starved to death to implement forced collectivization, 11 million bourgeoisie worked to death in the gulags, 2 million shot for treason in the purges. But; mission accomplished.

Well, fortunately (or, I guess, unfortunately, depending on your constitution), human communication doesn't have to function like a programming language.

If you ask me, we will get true AI, not when we make a computer as intelligent as a human, but when we program a computer to be as comfortable with cognitive dissonance as people.

As far as I know, Chomsky isn't a Communist, in the big C sense of the word.

Tell you the truth though, it is really hard to determine how well 'navigating ambiguity' is working out from the inside... but, pretty good, all things considered.

I mean, it's funny, like funny ha-ha, that Allende thought that Pinochet was actually on his side, Allende actually thought that Pinochet was coming to save la revolucion, LOL!
