Re: Fire McMaster !
Nearly two hundred and fifty years ago, when the United States first materialized upon the periphery of the British Empire, it was nothing more than a collection of underpopulated colonies straddling the Atlantic Coast of the vast North American continent. But in less than one hundred years, it had come to dominate the preponderant bulk of that vast continent. And in less than one hundred years after that, upon the conclusion of the Second World War, it had come to dominate the entire Western Hemisphere, control the entire Pacific Ocean up to and including the Japanese archipelago and the southern half of the Korean Peninsula, and occupy the entire western half of Europe. This growth, this expansion, this conquest - and not, as the liberal pundits are fond of espousing, ideals of diversity or Democracy - is what was primarily responsible for bestowing the United States with its vast amounts of wealth and power.
The United States, until recently, has never been a peaceful, inward-facing nation. The United States acquired its size, wealth, and power via Militant conquest and war. This is not something, as the liberal weaklings would have us believe, to be ashamed of. Americans have always been strong, rugged, angry, hostile, Militant people. This is what made America great. Conversely, the recent trends of weakness, tolerance, apathy, pacifism, universalism, "understanding," acceptance, and femininity have resulted in an accelerated erosion of America's wealth and power.

I don't think the wealth has eroded, in inflation adjusted constant dollars, the American GDP is five times the size it was in 1960, a twenty trillion dollar economy is a twenty trillion dollar economy, but if a trillion of those dollars is set aside on annual basis in order to deal with clear and present threats to the United States, then it should at least be able to deal with the likes of North Korea.
I mean, sure, it's bigger than Grenada, but we ain't talking about the Soviet Union here, in superpower terms, North Korea is a pipsqueak, so if North Korea is now out of America's league, just what exactly are you spending all this money on the Pentagon for? How much does the "North Korea could never mess with us" plan cost? A trillion a year doesn't cover that? That doesn't sound right.
What the fuck good is it, to be the "worlds preeminent military power", if you can't even put the smack down on relative pygmies like North Korea, without so much as breaking a sweat? A trillion a year, just for the privilege of having to appease the likes of Kim Jong Un? Boy o' boy are you ever getting gypped.

Yea because its that simple, right? Its not like we had a stalemate in the early 1950s or anything and had to struggle for that. We are at the height of any power at anytime and we didn't handle it like they were "pipsqueaks". Now China's a different animal and Russia's still well Russia. And N. Korea has nukes and according you we should just handle them b/c well we have trillions of dollars. Ask the other North Korean members of the forum what they think about it. Find out what they had for breakfast while you're at it.GloryofGreece wrote:Yea because its that simple, right? Actually, you did handle them like they were pipsqueaks, you mopped the floor with the North Koreans, Inchon and then crushed them with ease, it was no problemo until MacArthur marched on the Yalu in force. Even then, you actually laid a brutal beat down on the Red Chinese as well, almost one million Chinese killed against only 33,000 Americans.GloryofGreece wrote:Yea because its that simple, right? As for nukes, the Soviets had them in 1950, and what did they do with them? Oh, nothing? Well, so much for nukes, guess getting nuked right back tends to stay ones hand that way.

It really pissess me off that former military people like Bannon and McMaster don't take confidentiality seriously and were both leakers.

Once they let Hillary off, everyone knew the old rules didn't apply anymore.
Well, except for McCabe.
