As for my state? Train wreck might be a but much. The Oroville damn was designed in the 50s, and built in the 60s without concrete emergency spillways. It was a mistake, and we will fix it, even without Federal help if none is coming.

Neither side can coexist at this point. Neither side will surrender without a fight. The left brought the violence this month, and I don't think you can put that cat back in the bag. But consider you guys are starting a fight with tens of millions of gun owners. Consider also that most of you are women and betas who want to ban guns. Don't neglect to consider that most of you can't fight.

If this place goes Spanish Civil War, I'd expect a similar outcome, but on a much shorter schedule.

I suppose breaking up the federal government and going confederation could help us walk it back, but you guys will continue to commit cultural and racial suicide. We still would have to figure out how to contain the marxism and mayhem within your borders.

It's really a huge fucking mess that you guys will never take responsibility for until the last of you is extinguished. Trump said he had listened to farmers before the rally and many feel that the real reason they aren’t getting water is because it is being diverted to the sea. Scientists are concerned that the drought and water diversions away from the estuary could push the smelt to extinction, and imperil other wildlife. As it has federal protections, officials have tipped more water toward the smelt’s habitat, which eventually runs into the ocean. Former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz suggested when he sided with farmers this month that officials should just play music to increase the smelt’s libido, rather than send it more water.

Estuaries are only there for smelt? Holy shit.. It's like a contest to see who can sound more like an idiot..

I am not going to defend CA resource management when it comes to water because that is a legitimate mess in a lot of ways.

We do still have a big problem in the fact that our ground reserves are frightfully low after the long spat of very dry years. We still need a lot of exceptionally wet years to build them back up, and that can't be entirety blamed on bad management.

We are going to need to adapt our infrastructure and habits to changing conditions.

Hopefully this civil war I've been hearing about doesn't get in the way too much.

And StA, if I am ever beaten to death by an unruly mob of brown foreigners, I will try to make sure my last thoughts are an acknowledgement that you were right.
