Yeah. I liked Flynn. I'm praying he's not replaced with an Ash Carter type.kybkh wrote:On the bright side, expect some hot new leaks being passed on to Info Wars in the near future.
I am so disappointed in this shit.

Re: Our Man Flynn
You know that time when you got in a fight with your wife and said you were sorry and she said "that's ok we all make mistakes"?
NO, you don't because that never fucking happens. Your apology was met with contempt and perceived righteousness. A new more emboldened enemy that senses weakness and now moves in for the kill.
This better be some real shit. If the transcripts are leaked and it's a nothing burger....

It's interesting that all this came out right when the truth about who actually hacked the DNC servers became public.
Nobody is discussing how illegitimate and misdirected Obama's "sanctions" were on Russia, given that Russia had nothing to do with those leaks..

Come on StA, I understand you're pissed off, but you're making some incorrect attributions here. The article you speak of was about congressional computers, nothing to do with DNC servers.Speaker to Animals wrote:It's interesting that all this came out right when the truth about who actually hacked the DNC servers became public.

No. I speak of Obama targeting Russia with sanctions for "hacking our election", when that was never substantiated even then. Now we know it was totally false.

Are you talking about this ZeroHedge post, when you say "the truth about who actually hacked the DNC servers became public" and "Now we know it was totally false"?Speaker to Animals wrote:adwinistrator wrote:Come on StA, I understand you're pissed off, but you're making some incorrect attributions here. ZeroHedge - Meet The Awan Brothers - The (Not-Russian) IT Staff Who Allegedly Hacked Congress' Computer Systems (2/4/17)
I can understand your confusion, since ZeroHedge seems to be purposefully conflating the DNC server hack with the actions of these IT staff from the very first sentence.
If you read the entire article, you'll see that there is no mention of the DNC servers. In an ironic twist, it appears it may not have been 'The Russians' that hacked America's political system last year.
Since the ZeroHedge article is based on The Daily Caller's article, let's see what they say.
The Daily Caller - EXCLUSIVE: House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs Committee Members Compromised By Rogue IT Staff (1/4/17)
Well now, The Daily Caller says this is about violations of IT policies, but they link to Politico. I wonder if they actually spell out what this is about, instead of obfuscating this story.Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computers without permission.
...
A criminal investigation into five unnamed people began late last year related to serious and potentially illegal violations of House IT policies, Politico reported Thursday. Chiefs of staff for the members were briefed Thursday by the Sergeant-at-Arms.
Politico - House staffers under criminal investigation for alleged equipment theft (2/2/17)
This incident has nothing to do with the election, and Russia was never suspected of being involved in any of the activities these IT staffers got in trouble for... Well, because that wouldn't make sense, if you read the articles, followed the links to what their writing was sourced on, then read those articles too.Five House employees are under criminal investigation amid allegations that they stole equipment from more than 20 member offices and accessed House IT systems without lawmakers' knowledge.
Access to the House network was terminated for the five employees — four men and a woman — on Thursday afternoon, but it’s up to individual lawmakers to fire the staffers in question, according to a senior House official. The official said most members are proceeding with termination.
If you don't take the time to do this, the story you walk away from ZeroHedge with is "Wow! This new info has completely cleared Russia from any suspicion for the hacking of DNC servers!"

http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/04/exclu ... ity-probe/\Also among those whose computer systems may have been compromised is Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat who was previously the target of a disastrous email hack when she served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 campaign.
The brothers are suspected of serious violations, including accessing members’ computer networks without their knowledge and stealing equipment from Congress.
That was how the accounts were accessed. It starts with these guys.

Brietbart is discussing the more ominous ramifications of what we learned today..
Discussion of sleeper cells of Obama admin appointees, including Yates, who plan to do everything in their power to undermine the administration:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government ... andidates/
Obama apparently participating in organizing the political violence and setting up a shadow government miles from the White House:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government ... ite-house/
http://www.breitbart.com/national-secur ... -services/The fourth and most worrying explanation is that the government was not merely monitoring the communications of Russian diplomats, but of the Trump transition team itself. The fact that the contents of Flynn’s phone conversation — highly sensitive intelligence — were leaked to the media suggests that someone with access to that information also has a political axe to grind.
Democrats are clamoring for a deeper investigation of Russian ties to Trump. But the more serious question is whether our nation’s intelligence services were involved in what amounts to political espionage against the newly-elected government.
We know that there are hundreds and perhaps thousands of federal bureaucrats already using shadow communications systems. How far does that “shadow government” go?
The FBI, CIA and other agencies ought to reassure Congress, or come clean.
