It wouldn't be a shock to hear that. The difference here is that the IC developed and ran and active Operation against Trump called Crossfire Hurricane for political purposes. The sitting POTUS was kept up to date on it in his daily Intelligence Briefings.

It's a far cry from the IC being up to date on what's happening in campaigns as opposed to actively working to stop a political candidate and having the POTUS approving of the Operation.
