I don't know how far I can follow a line that says people in America can't bake a chicken and boil water for rice. I'm doubtful many people living in American cities lack such basic amenities, or lack access to them if they wanted them.

I know some people don't have a full oven, and use a hotplate instead. Just throw the chicken in the pot and cook it that way, then all the fats, and flavors, and other goodies stay in the pot, instead of being left behind on the baking pan.

I really wanna go home and cook now.

Oh fuck, I don't have a fully working stove at home, and I can cook thinks at home with very little money that will look like it came from a Micheline star restaurant if I took my time to make things. Normally I am cooking at a furious pace when I get home so my presentation needs work, but the food is good.

You got Pizza Bites, 1/3 lbs of pasta, Deep Dish Pizza, Eggplant Parma and Chicken Parma, as well as a Pasta with Clams. Each dish there with pasta is homemade pasta, I haven't bought pasta for almost 3 years now.

One thing we could do is build community kitchens that have large walk-in refrigerated areas that can be divided amongst families and a lot of ranges and ovens with lots and lots of counter space.
