95% of Facebook posts absolutely depend on systemic racism existing.
It has to exist for the economic well being of Silicon Valley, and to provide the internet shut-ins that no one wants to hang out with (they don't even want to hang out with eachother) a platform for their voice to be "heard".
Even if it doesn't exist, it exists.
Get it?

This made me chuckle.Kath wrote:You realize that even if there are 0 racists, there can still be systemic racism? There's no doubt the system is rigged.
Also, inanimate objects are racist.

Got some racist rocks in my yard I'm trying to remove.
Even if zero humans are racist, God can still create racist rocks.

Nobody is required to try an understand what the other side is saying, but it would be nice if we could all try doing that more.

I don't think it's an issue with understanding.
I think it's an issue with not thinking through one's own statements.
Like, one question I would pose to you would be - can an inanimate "system" actually hold opinions or motivations at all?
If not, then that would pretty much put to rest the idea that a "system" can be racist.
A system can't even be sentient.

Yes Kath, people are offended because NFL players are calling them racist. That's the players argument yall a bunch of racist crackers and your flag represents that.
I'm pissed at the hypocrisy of these spoiled brats. Remind of the time where the Chicago Bears went into their inner city to stop violence.
How about the time they all stoo arm in arm at the Cook county courthouse to stop the way cops enagged blacks.

I wish I could go to work and start every day off by broadcasting my political opinions in the form of a "protest" when I was actually supposed to be doing something else.

If I am quiet, I'm working. If I am here, I'm still doing my job, because it means my infrastructure isn't breaking around us.DBTrek wrote:I wish I could go to work and start every day off by broadcasting my political opinions in the form of a "protest" when I was actually supposed to be doing something else.

The Bears are more concerned with stopping violence against their quarterback, because he can’t read a defense, and takes 3 minutes to throw a pass to the other team.C-Mag wrote:Good deflect.Kath wrote:You realize that even if there are 0 racists, there can still be systemic racism? Quit picking on my boys. I don’t see the Giants trekking out to Albany or Queens on a regular basis and holding hands at the courthouse. One cannot hold ones breath for the LA Rams or Chargers to carpool into South Central any time soon.
