I was taught to never wear the flag. Below is in the same code that calls for standing for the flag. Neither is a law, but both are about respect. If you support Kid Rock disrespecting the code, you should have no issue with a football player doing the same thing in a different way. Otherwise, you are a hypocrite.

My family is military, in all branches and all forces, but that being said, in 1989, the Supreme Court ruled flag-protection laws unconstitutional. So you can use the flag for whatever you wish. but it doesn't mean I like it. The fact is that what Kid Rock did is allowed.
