Gentle reminder that the IRA has not gone away.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Have we considered the possibility that the EU tries to use this as a prelude to war? We know that they’ll do anything to stay in power..Montegriffo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 12:30 pmThe Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 7:49 amhttps://www.rt.com/news/448920-brexit-g ... al-damage/
Hard Brexit would break EU.Yay, let's do that then.A “hard Brexit” would hurt both the EU and Britain, he warned. “Everyone in Europe would lose, nobody would win,” the minister stated.

Re: Europe, Boring Until it's Not
The only realistic military power left in the EU after UK leaves is France, and France is no match for the UK any time soon.
There are the economic reasons they are freaking out about Brexit (UK is a huge market for them and Germany stands to lose access to that export market without tariffs). That's the reason the globalist merchants are trying to sabotage it. The actual EU weenies who want to build a pan-European empire ruled from Brussels, however, rely quite heavily on the UK to provide the military muscle to back this thing up.
They are talking about creating some EU-wide armed forces precisely because they will be nothing more than a paper tiger without the UK.
Germany is one of the strongest economic powers in the world, but their military is almost nonexistent for force projection for obvious reasons. France has some force projection capabilities, but it's nothing like what the UK can do.
Look at where the UK was when even the Argies thought about having a go with them. UK was weak as fuck back then and fighting for the Falklands was not trivial for them at the time like it would be now. That is where the rest of Europe is today. They all decided to cut defense spending to rely upon the United States and the United Kingdom. Now with the US threatening to bail on NATO and the UK voting to bail on the continent, they are up shit creek for real.

Re: Europe, Boring Until it's Not
The problem for the EU is that the entire thing is predicated upon the US and the UK providing it's defense. At a loss to those nations. And without any gratitude whatsoever. It's a parasitic organization.
They feed off the countryside like parasites (look at what happened in France as exhibit A for that). They feed off first world powers for their defense (most of them don't even spend 2% of their GDP on their own defense. Think about that shit). They use passive aggressive tactics and propaganda to try to coerce people into going along with their program. It's just a shitty, fucked up organization.
I cannot respect people like that. Merchants who become would-be imperialists are such a fucking joke. If you want an empire, you need to build a fucking army and fight for it. If they were honest about it and went at it like the Germans tried to do a century ago, I'd at least respect them somewhat. But banksters and corporate suits are inherently cowards. How are they supposed to build an empire without depending upon others to actually do the work for them, and why should others do that work for them?
The answer is that nobody has any reason to build an empire for somebody else, shed their blood for them, pay for merchants to live like Caesars.

29 vs 1, they don’t need to be that tough. Somebody in Brussels is having that thought right now..Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:04 amThe only realistic military power left in the EU after UK leaves is France, and France is no match for the UK any time soon.

Not a full-on War to start, but some kind of proxy skirmish to bloody their nose.

I do not doubt that cowardly merchant cunts think about these dreams, but their military leaders will tell them get fucked. The only continental power that can realistically fight a war is France, and France cannot win a war against the UK.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 8:16 am29 vs 1, they don’t need to be that tough. Kinda hard to do without having an EU army, without having an EU head of state with the mandate to start wars on the whole union's behalf, and why on earth should the EU want to go to war with the UK over Brexit?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 6:58 amHave we considered the possibility that the EU tries to use this as a prelude to war? Possibly because a true Brexit could start the chain of events that destroys the EU.
France is not far behind the UK.
What then?

Because the EU is doomed, unless they can force compliance. You never leave The Family.

Honestly, I do not think most continentals have the balls to fight. The EU is a parasite run by corporate cronies. When is the last time you ever saw globalist banksters taking up arms in large numbers to fight their own wars?
The only way they can maintain power is through control of the media and lots and lots of propaganda and nebulous threats/lies.
