Re: Meanwhile in America
Looks like you're still getting the Whataburger fix over there Nuke even when underwater.
Man catches bass in floodwaters while eating Whataburger, is officially Texas hero
"This dude caught a 4 pound bass on the feeder road near I-45 and Cross Timbers in front of Whataburger while he was stranded waiting for the flood waters to recede," Andrew Mattheis captioned the photos in a Facebook post. "If this isn't Texas, and especially Houston, I don't know what is."

LOL I was like 5 minutes down the road. Didn't even think about fishing. I'm out in Galveston fishing right now. Caught maybe a little striped croaker yesterday. Threw it back. Didn't think to take a pic

I went to one yesterday. Picked up a couple of bricks of .22 LR and a box of .284 Winchester for my brother. Came up Zero on 10 gauge rounds. The only real interesting guns at the show were a WWII German mauser re-chambered to 30-06 in Belgium after the war and; a model 1897 Winchester lever action 10 gauge.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 12:27 pmGoing to a gun show to buy guns through the gun show loop hole. I saw a double barrel 10 ga I think that was shortened by the cavalry from the civil war era for like 600. I would love to have owned that. Nice black guy with a Chihuahua was selling it and a hand forged Texas Bowie from the same era.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 9:41 amI went to one yesterday. Re: Meanwhile in America
My Dad had always had a 10 gauge in the arsenal for goose hunting. Until I started hunting Turkeys with a 10 gauge I never really understood how powerful they were. It's an incredible upgrade for big birds over a 12. I'm shooting the Remington SP10 Autoloader.
I recommend adding a 10 gauge to the line up. But Ammo is not readily available, and will cost you at least 4X as much as 12 gauge. But you can still shoot it for a dollar a round or less.

When SHTF, I am going to need something more effective at beta cuck crowd control. Maybe a Saiga-12.
