In a nutshell:
The Trump White House has tried to use the connection between the dossier and Clinton to claim that this shows that rather than Trump colluding with Russia, Clinton colluded with Russia. (The theory appears to be that because Steele was getting information from Russian officials in part with funds provided by the Clinton campaign, the Russians were helping Clinton.)

But that ignores the fact that DNC emails — as well as the email account of the Clinton campaign chairman — were hacked and then published by WikiLeaks as part of the pro-Trump Russian operation identified by U.S. intelligence agencies. Indeed, the Wall Street Journal reported that a prominent Trump donor and the chief executive of a data-analytics firm working for Trump’s presidential campaign in August 2016 discussed how to better organize the Clinton-related emails being released by Wikileaks in order to leverage their impact.
I remember those times when you guys thought Russia didn't do anything, absolutely anything in the elections. The Seth Rich story and so on. :D
I think by now it should be obvious that the cardinal rule in US politics is, "It's only wrong if the other guys do it". Which ultimately means there's really nothing that's wrong, or right.

I believe they call that "Cultural Marxism".
Oh shit. You done it now.

What do you think were the unique actions undertaken by Russia in this election as opposed to 2012?

And there is still no proof of Russia hacking anyone.

They didn't do anything in the election, vote totals weren't changed, so the onus is still on the voters

Voters have free will
They never would have elected someone “under investigation” a week prior. No sane person would.
I think you overestimate American voters.

Well, I'm speaking specifically to the "majority". Of course, millions voted for her regardless, given the abhorrent choice on the other side of the ballot.

Given a competent opposition though, she probably wins California only.

The unique actions happened because they got people like Manafort inside Trump's campaign. I still assume that the basic reason is that Trump was so friendly to the Russians because they lent him money as after the bankruptcies of his business ventures, financing from the US dried up. Trump went along and they thought, what the hell!!! They cannot lose.

No proof?

That the hackers were linked to same hackers that hacked Ukrainian artillery apps that the Ukrainians unwisely used? Or what? Because Wikileaks founder who has every reason not to be painted as a Russian hack has denied that the leakers were Russians? Because of Seth Rich who died before the Podesta hacks were made?

How about the whole intelligence operation around it? Starting from fake news that even Trump commented from Russian media. Those you could verify yourself during the election. How about the various meetings and acknowlegments of meetings with the Russians? From "I love it" e-mails to what Papadopoulos has admitted now?

Implying democrats understand the difference. Technically phishing is hacking in a way though so whatever. Social hacking is also a thing, anything is a hack if it achieves the end goal hence the word "hack" which back in the day literally meant "keep hacking away until something breaks."

Bullshit, they would do what they did in 2012. Savage the opponent and if they don't fight back they lose.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4801531/r ... m-jong-un/

And the Russian Defence Ministry today announced that US and Japanese jets escorted Russia’s missile-carrying Tupolev-95MS strategic bombers during flights over the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean.

A spokesman said: "Two strategic bombers Tupolev-95MS of Russia’s Aerospace Force have carried out routine flights over international waters of the Sea of Japan and the western part of the Pacific Ocean.

"At certain sections of the route the Tupolev-95MS crews were accompanied by a pair of F-18 fighters (of the US Air Force), and a pair of F-15, F-4 and F-2A fighters (of the Japanese Air Force)."

As in we flew form with the Ruskis? or we were monitoring them? If the former, very interesting times indeed....I can't image the Bear likes having the Rocket Man so close to its den.

Fuck it....if the PRC won't step up to the plate an occupy DPRK, then let the Russians have it....almost anything is better than Rocket Man.
