White people aren't allowed to take pride in their culture or it's racist, but if they take pride in another culture, that's cultural appropriation so they are racist. White people are allowed to take no pride in any culture, they aren't allowed to have a culture, because it would be inherently racist culture if they did have one, no matter what that culture is.
Moral of the story, white people are racist no matter what they do, according to the diversity is our strength crowd.

Too much of anything is a bad thing, that applies to both unity and diversity, the best answer lies somewhere in the middle ground, not either extreme.

Depends what you mean by unity and what you mean by "too much".
Having a few immigrants to bring new ideas and experiences is a net positive, but just having no racial or ethnic diversity is not going to be a problem either.
Having a majority minority state or empire, however, is so unstable that history shows us repeatedly that it must fail.
The common word we have for it is Balkanization. It's not a recipe for strength but for civil sectarian war and genocide.
Depends what kind of balkanization you are talking about. For instance the provinces that comprise Canada would be much better off without being bound to the shotgun marriage of Confederation, and the provinces became their own countries by way of the Clarity Act.
You are for America breaking up as well, technically that's balkanization too, not all balkanization is bad necessarily, but it can go very wrong indeed when taken too far. Certainly going as far as the Balkans did is not the best idea, that goes without saying.
