My kin down in Nova Scotia, they live on the Evangeline Trail, where the Second Great Revival came up from the South all the way to the Annapolis Valley, so my grandpappy actually had an old school Southron drawl, which had clearly been handed down from Dixie at some point, by way of the preachers I'd assume, my grandparents spoke more like they were from the Carolinas in the 19th century than they did like Canadians in the 20th.

No kidding, CNN is going apoplectic, there's the real world, and then there's CNN world, and in CNN world, everything Trump touches turns to Hitler, but surely that doesn't extend much beyond their studios and out into the Red disctricts where the elections are decided.

The liberal bubble only talks to the liberal bubble, seemingly oblivious to the fact that that bubble is concentrating in ever fewer districts all the time.

I didn't find anything he said to be particularly extreme at all, just sounded like how Joe Q. Public actually thinks and talks rather than how the media frames everything, which is the whole secret to his success. /shrugs.
