SADF Recce Commando may be the hardest SF selection of all time

They didn't do log PT, they had to carry a log around with them, everywhere

The rations they were issued ?

Dog biscuits soaked in gasoline
Damn. That sounds like an average day for me. I once did 1000 jumping jacks in a single month. And this was after waking up at 9:45 am (Eastern Time).

Don't forget, any stupid asshole can be uncomfortable

An Operator is comfortable with uncertainty, prepared to roll in the field indefinitely as necessary

I've been drafted along with everybody else

I'm just good at this shit

Still a 6 God

The Moonrise is really cool right now

Perfect half day moon at sunset, directly above, crystal clear in the blue sky

I can see a lot of detail through the telescope in daylight

Much as I prefer hot summer weather, this is perfect weather for stargazing

Crystal clear, warm in sunshine by day, temperature dropping like a stone now

So no clouds, no smog, no mosquitoes

Just a little cool

So I'll pour myself a whiskey or three

See, it was an honor and privilege to live up in Renfrew County

Even tho my family is country down home in Nova Scotia, I lived in Halifax, I just visited the country

When I met my army girlfriend tho, we were practically married and her family took me in

So then I got to live country, in a outdoor recreational paradise, with a smoldering qt, on the banks of the Ottawa

So I got Eyetalian street cred down in the 6ix

But I got my Redneck upbringing too

Oh fuck yeah, the weather is going to be nice for at least the next week, lots of sunshine & blue skies

It's hauntingly beautiful out right now, the valley bathed in silvery moonlight
