A few weeks from now when this is old news, the truth will come out that it was all a set up by Smollett. The media will make little mention of that after spending the past weeks using this as proof that all Trump supporters are racists.

- Suspects knew he was an actor on the show Empire. I didn't figure MAGA racists to follow a mostly non-white show like Empire so closely as to immediately recognize him.
- They had rope for a noose and bleach to throw on him at 2am in below zero temps, yet this was just some random hate crime because he was black. 'Cause in Chicago they couldn't find any other black people.

I was wrong about one aspect. There has been a lot more media attention given to his fall than I expected.

Fox Television says “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett “continues to be a consummate professional on set” and it has reiterated that he’s not being written out of the show.

The statement issued Wednesday by 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Entertainment follows reports that Smollett’s role on the show was being slashed amid police investigations into the actor’s report that he was attacked in Chicago last month.

“Empire” is on hiatus and scheduled to resume new episodes on March 13. A Fox spokeswoman said nine episodes remain in this season, the show’s fifth, and filming is complete on all but two.

It helps them cover up the reality that these kinds of violent attacks happen all the time, but they are perpetrated by democrats.
