Everything you revere as science was supernatural a thousand years ago.
You neither understand the Big Bang theory, nor possess the skills or abilities to develop it yourself.
You were told to believe it, by people you believe, and so you do.
... and yet, somehow you find the audacity within yourself to look down on others for what they believe.

Tell me again how there was nothing - not space, not energy ... not even time. Conceive of that for a moment . . . there was not even time. Because there was no place for time to exist. There wasn't empty space. There wasn't even space. There. Was. Nothing.
And then BOOM!
There is EVERYTHING.

That's what you believe, clown - and you couldn't explain it if I gave you a thousand year lifespan to do it.

But you're pretty comfortable mocking what others believe.

Big Bang is the thing that killed atheism as a viable intellectual position. Because of the Big Bang, atheism has been rendered the least probable position. I mean.. it's not as improbable as some cargo cult in Papa New Guinea, but it's certainly less credible than Roman paganism. Though, one could argue New Atheism in particular is basically a cargo cult.

For atheism to work you need some eternally young sequence of causal events. But now we know that's not even mathematically possible, so atheism died from mathematicians' hand as much as that damned Catholic priest astronomer who proved the Big Bang. LOLOL

Atheists are smart enough to know that we are all living in a computer simulation; no big bang.

A computer simulation set up and administered by . . . nevermind.

Can’t explain the Big Bang without understanding quantum mechanics. We’re a long way from that. Even the Big Bang is only a theory based on current expansion - which may or may not be a thing.

Science doesn’t pretend to know what happened. People just like to run with it.

You all can't even conceive of "no time". None of us can. It is so far beyond our ability to process, so alien to every aspect of our existence and experience, it is truly inconceivable. There has to be time, right? Wait a second. There, time passed.

Nope. Not before the Big Bang.
No time.
No space.
Nothing.

And then everything just existed.

But hey, don't go accusing these folks of believing in supernatural shit.

So your proof for God is the big bang?

If there are things that science can't explain, because humans don't have the capacity to understand it, then God must exist? That doesn't mean God exists, that just means humans are limited.

Case in point - people with the intellectual capacity of Jedi are going to look down on the beliefs of other's because "science".

Like - I can't even add anything here to further highlight the absurdity.

Simple question.
If God created the universe and everything in it who created God?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
