Our country has an abundance of people like you relative to other countries in the world. I don't know about you, but I'm in this circle of friends and family with a lot of machinists, fabricators and just tinkerers who are building stuff all the time. I take on all kinds of projects, welding, blacksmithing, restoring old equipment...………. I don't have a specialty.

I guess I know many colleagues I've met working over the years, so it's naturally skewed in that direction. The FX industry tends towards "jack of all trades" types. What's funny is being a city boy I don't know shit about cars & engines, my proudest recent moment was putting a new engine on my ancient snowblower. There's actually a forum for snowblowers where guys have thousands of posts!

I'm not great with cars and engines. I have a brother that's a prodigy with that stuff, kind makes me not bother and I work on other stuff.

I once found a forum where people are all anti open borders and just spend their time mocking the MSM and liberals. It was truly sickening.
