Baja California is going to be a real hell-hole when the free state of Kalifornia collapses and all the Mexicans storm the length of Baja to get the hell out of there; they ain't coming over to Nevada, that's a border we can control IRL. Best to stay far, far away, I suppose.
However, it puts a premium on hardening Guam, eh?

Guam is just a runway, tarmac, some hangars, and a village.

It's easier to get to Eurasia from there in the event of war, and once the arctic loses it's ice cap, nobody is going to want to pay to ship bullshit across the Pacific anyway. It's a short trip to Europe and Asia from Alaska, and rails/trucks from there (and vice versa).

Because Rural people are ignorant or because the monied interest in NYC and DC bailed their own asses out (Multiple Times) creating mega banks and easy financing for Big City investment firms to buy up any asset in the nation for 3-6% and either "Mitt Romney" it or consolidation?
