Probably a quarter to half of the athletes in the Olympics used banned substances of some kind to get where they are. Possibly even most when you consider all the ridiculous items on the banned substances list.

A lot of them are actually beneficial to your health when used properly.

Some are dangerous. Catharine, for example, gives you significant endurance boost in cardio, but it can cause cancer.

Most people just think of "steroids", and even then they have no idea what benefits they provide. I swear to God, a lot of people think athletes just inject steroids and it automatically builds muscle for free.
