Yes, I would agree but it's usually when people are at their lowest/angriest they strat to noticed how unfair income inequality really is. It's like the only time people want to bring up the issue is when everything and everyone is in the toilet and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

To be fair, though economic was never considered to be a "sexy" topic to study/understand but it's one of the most common things people would talk about and say they care about the most.

It's also one of the topics that most people are misinformed about, which just leads to a big ball of anger.

The big dogs do not want the masses to know how the wheels turn, they just want good consumers.

Kinda hard to be good consumers if you don't have money or even a job.

They make money just by throwing your broke ass in jail too. Private prison corps are apparently here to stay.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that. I read somewhere, maybe the Naked Capitalism blog, about a member of Trump's staff being in the private prison industry, and of course pushing for prison expansion.

It's not about finding a job. It is how the system functions. For a capitalist system, or any modern business, to work requires revenue from somewhere. Usually that means customers spending that they got free their job. No jobs. No wages. No customers. No income. No business. No capitalistic system.

GCF points out that one could make the destitute unemployed into inmates of the private prisons being pushed for by Trump officials, thereby giving them "work" as prison labor, and for the new guards, paid for by the government.

You could think of it as a neo-Keynesian jobs program.
