:shifty:
Are you saying human fossil fuel management haven't increased atmospheric CO2 in the last 200 years?
No, I only asked a question.
We already know a bunch about the greenhouse effect. Rising CO2 levels do increase temperatures.

But it's true, rising temperatures ALSO increases CO2, and other greenhouse gases. For example in the permafrost, when it thaws, releases a whole other bunch of gases.

But what's the reason temperatures have increased in the first place?

So, maybe there's some unknown thing going on that increases global temperatures. Sure, that may be. But we know we've been putting a lot of CO2 in the atmosphere the last 200 years, and we know this does have an effect of global temperatures. So, if there's some unknown second system at work here, it doesn't negate the things we already do know.

I'll ask again--HOW do we know?

I have long held the nagging feeling that we are headed for a colder period.

Sarcastic response

Because the enlightened overlords told us it is so.

As far as the dumpster fire that has become of climate science, I'd suggest that if you create a theory that is always confirmed, not matter what happens, then perhaps that's not legitimate science.

It may well be that humans have contributed to an increase in the global temperature. But when everything becomes evidence that your theory is correct, your theory is not really science. If it gets colder, that's climate change's fault. If it gets hotter, that's climate change's fault. If there is a heavy rain season, climate change did it. If there is a drought.. yep, climate change did that too.

It's really become part of the religion of progressivism at this point. This is why you see guys like Nye making what amount to weak religious arguments in support of it instead of just defending it on a scientific basis.

I will be busy defending the sovereign borders of the Republic of Appalachia from illegal immigrants, honestly. Those boat people can fuck off and go to Mexico.

So, I'll ask you the same question. No AGW adherents will answer this question.

Based on Science, would you categorize AGW as a
A. Speculation
B. Observation
C. Hypothesis
D. Theory
E. Scientific Law

Please pick the best answer.

That question doesn't make any sense.
