What did I say? I told you how this was going to play out if the Truckers didn't get followers fast enough in Parliament.

They missed the deadline to vote a no-confidence on Trudeau. So now, what you see is all sanctioned actions by Canada’s government.

Until Smitty and others get enough of the Parliament on their side, the abuse of powers will continue.

this is permanent martial law in place now

there is no end date, this is opened ended

there's not going to be any elections during a "state of national emergency"

this is an actual coup de'tat in the classic sense

suspending all rights, freedoms & democratic representation, indefinitely

Well, That is what happens when you live in a Democracy... and not a REPUBLIC!

Your choices are limited, and regretfully, they get what they have sewen. I'm tired of being right in this case. Nothing was going to change for the better if Trudeau was not removed. Since that timeframe has lapsed he now believes he has the right to do what he is doing, because the Parliament has not told him in a large enough percentage, "No!"...

As I said before, I'm all for the truckers, but I never held hope for them to succeed under the situation that they put themselves under.

I am a realist, and I can see with my two eyes that although the idea of what was happening in Canada seemed like a good idea, it was not going to succeed in Canada. Their government has made it that way.

If this happens in the US (as it looks like it is going to) we may see something entirely different happen, but we shall see. I expect a lot more pushback though, and with how DC is under lockdown... that pushback may not be what the Truckers are going to be expecting I'm afraid.

If they can get past the initial pushback and get a working supply line directly to them at all times, it may, but they are going to have to build up a CHAZ type situation to make anything viable I'm afraid. As time goes by they slowly expand it any way they can, or have multiple variants of it spread across DC...

Again, is it the right thing to do, no... might it be their only option for a long-term siege... yes.

they said that protestors used "inflammatory rhetoric"

and "words are violence"

so all protest using "inflammatory rhetoric" are now considered to be "terrorism"

and they voted on that in Parliament, and have now passed it into law

literally a Woke Communist takeover, no longer simply de facto, now de jure as well
