At least the information warfare counterattack is in full swing.

"...seperate Iraq from Syria"? So like a buffer zone? I don't like the sounds of that, a strategic raid to hit ISIS hard and knock them down a few pegs, then pull back, would be better, because a static buffer zone where you just sit there in a defensive posture; IED's; Bad-Ju-Ju.

America needs to stick with "hit and run" here, it's viable to knock IS down a few pegs, degrade and supress them, but "stability ops" and patrolling a "buffer zone", no thanks, that's called "sitting ducks".

Analysis is easy when you divorce your emotions from the facts.

Because America is so scared of them. It all makes sense now.
Thanks for stopping by, DB. Don't forget to tune in next weekend when Trump puts the world on the verge of destruction with a tweet or a carrier group in the Sea of Japan.

Yeah, the inclination to be the "good guys" wearing the "white hats" with the "humanitarian" pixie dust, bad ju-ju. How about just "stick and weave", "move and shoot", hit em' hard and then get out of the kill zone, just stay on offense and never mind about saving the locals, the locals will save themselves or they won't, don't bother chasing that rabbit down a hole.

Nah, it means big profit for their buddies in Blackwater/Xe/Academi/whatever-they-are-this-year, Halliburton, etc, while soaking the taxpayers for it all as "essential to US interests".

Or "Afghanistan, part deux", a multi-$trillion fiasco the taxpayer has no clue why we're still there.
