If the FBI knowingly purchased bogus opposition research and used that to obtain a warrant to gather intelligence against the opposition party's campaign, then it seems to me more than a handful of people in that agency exposed themselves to prosecution and prison time. At the very least.
This really does appear to be without a doubt the worst political crime in our nation's history.
Who the hell knows what the standard is for a warrant in the FBI.
Not only the FBI bought it, but it appears all 17 Intelligence Agencies approved of the Dossier too. I point that out because the next thing that will be said to defend government illegally spying on US Citizens will be.......... ' Oh, you can't be too hard on them. It's not that the FBI is bad, it's probably just some poor work done by the FBI. It's not just the FBI. It's all the Intel Community, it's the DOJ, it's the FISA Court as well.
