You look for any evidence that could indicate he's an imbecile and dismiss any evidence that could indicate that such statements could be interpreted any other way. There is no hope for you on Trump, you are so dug in against him, especially this view that he's an idiot who doesn't have the slightest idea what he's doing, that you are incapable of viewing hardly anything he does rationally. You always assume anything he does is simply yet another example of idiocy no matter how hard you have to stretch to do that.
