I think a kind of mental exhaustion is settling over some of us here in the States about all this stuff.

Not for me, it's kind of a nervous energy. Akin to this time last year with the election. I'm confident Justice can be served, but nervous due to my cynical nature about the Establishment.

Isn't this old news? I remember that it was first some republicans that started it and then the democrats got involved.

What is your fucking game here? Honestly, it is being shown clearer and clearer everyday that Clinton Inc. had more Russian ties than anyone else and if you want to play that collusion card it has be played on both sides. So what do you hope to fucking gain here?

"some things in the dossier have been confirmed" - Never state what has been verified.

"The US intelligence services state Russia hacked the DNC" - The US IC has never seen those servers.

"The Republican Party is in the middle of a Civil War" - Republicans give Trump an 80%+ approval rating. The only "Republicans" who openly oppose Trump are on their way out and are Neo-Cons. I remember when the MSM was saying how Trump would cost Congress seats because Republican voters would be so disgusted. In fact, opposing Trump has been the death kiss.

The dossier is not what led to the Mueller special council. It was all of the meetings, and failures to disclose meetings, and the things Trump and his family kept saying about their close ties to Russia before people started asking questions about it.

In fact, if memory serves, serious people rejected the dossier pretty much out of hand since it was a bunch of un-vetted slanderous nonsense, released and and not collaborated by friggin' Buzzfeed.

I am not saying the Clinton's aren't a bunch of shady sum'bitches, but don't rewrite history to place the Steel dossier in a position it never occupied.

That is a good piece. There is really nothing to dispute in the article. The only assumption you have to make for it all to be true is that people in power are willing to break the law in order to stay in power.

That's another thing that drives me freaking crazy about CNNISIS. They feign so much disbelief that a politician is lying or misleading the American people. They keep referencing how Trump is normalizing lying to the public. Give me a fucking break.

That's the opinion of U.S. voters in a new Rasmussen poll, which found that only 4 percent of likely voters think politicians keep their campaign promises, while 83 percent do not and 13 percent are undecided.

The findings cut right across party boundaries, but Democrats are more forgiving. About 59 percent of Republicans and 46 percent of independents say politicians "deliberately make false promises to win," while 56 percent of Democrats "blame unforeseen events after they take office" as the reason politicians don't, or can't, keep their campaign promises. On average, 46 percent say candidates intentionally make false promises to win office.

In another Rasmussen poll, a wide majority of voters said politicians will use race as an issue to win. About 78 percent of voters said politicians will "play the race card" to get votes, including 68 percent of black voters, 79 percent of white voters and 81 percent of other minority voters.
