Officials say the man approached a group of soldiers patrolling the airport and made off with the gun into a shop.
At that point shots were fired and the man was killed. His motivation is not yet known.

I have no idea why you guys are so hung up on these semantics. It said "radicalized Muslim" in the article.

There's no known motive for the Where and the Why that attack happened right there and then. That's responsible journalism. If they just hand-waved every attack as a completely random event because "Muslims", then we might as well just start a genocide (as some are itching to do). The specific triggers matter.
