The crash is way overdue. Question is if it’s because we broke the pattern and hacked the system so we no longer will see the same crashes as the cycles used to predict or if we just delayed it by inflating the bubble more than was ever possible.

Only time will tell. It might be a mega extinction level of bubble burst in the end or it will just fizzle as the emerging economies rises up and saves our bacon.

It’s begun slowly, showing around the edges. Look at your local real estate market. Look at the real poverty rate. Look at the savings rate, debt ratios, and treasury markets. Corporate buybacks and capital investment.

The fact that the stock market hasn’t responded yet is indicative of a very big problem, not an all-clear signal.
