How? Why couldn't 10-20 million white/Asian men innovate at the same and/or faster rate as we are now? Especially as we approach the singularity?
Are you being serious here? Read your question and try to imagine the logical response.

Or just apply it to any other economic activity. Why couldn't 10-20 million men build as much infrastructure as they are now?

The level of production in intellectual activities is a factor of demographics alone. Tools and automation can only augment innovation to a small degree.

With a smaller population, we don't need the same level of infrastructure.
That's not true either. The infrastructure for the most part is fixed. In the cities it is true that their local infrastructure is correlated to their population density. But nationally, that's not the case at all. You still need a nation-wide power grid. You still need an interstate system, bridges, trains, etc. Not having as much traffic due to 70% loss in population does not mean you can eliminate 70% of the interstates and roads.

I think a population of 2 Billion could maintain the present highways....how may people per/mile is that?

Your'e better argument was a slow down in innovation - but, IMHO, the singularity (or close approach) prevents that.

I doubt it, and it isn't just the highways. It's the communication networks, all the computing and database infrastructure, the sewage and water treatment systems, and even all the factories that produce the shit you use every day. Just because there are less drivers doesn't mean you can shut down all the auto factories.

You suffer from a basic lack of demographics knowledge is all.

That's a bit like the ''why does the white man have all the cargo'' question.
I can recommend a good book if you want some interesting ideas.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

You are illustrating my point.

I said: white and Asian men in their thirties and forties. That is who produces the vast majority of innovations and scientific breakthroughs.

Also, you are looking at this like it's a percentage game when it is not. It's a raw numbers game. When the density of white men in their thirties and forties hit a certain threshold, you got an industrial and technological boom starting in the 20th century (really right after the war, but probably preceding it too, though that innovation got redirected towards war). It's not a lot of individuals either. We are not talking about all white and Asian people. We are talking about men in an age window of about twenty years.

If we increased those raw numbers our capacity for an even higher tech civilization would increase. If we reduce those raw numbers.. well, we can already see where that is going. Innovation in the tech industry has been dropping due to the affirmative action policies and anti-white/anti-male politics that predominate there. A bunch of fucking purple-haired transgender men at Google aren't doing that company any favors.

I don’t see any reason why a working population equivalent that of the 1960s wouldn’t work for us.
