Yes, because he would have set it off anyway. In the meantime, you'd save 25 minutes worth of shooting victims.kybkh wrote:If they charge the room prompting the shooter to set of an explosion killing hundreds in the hotel itself would their rush to get the shooter still be considered the right move?

Re: BREAKING: Las Vegas Active Shooter
Since we're destined to retread this shattered ground once again... If you had a few hundred guns in the crowd, what do you think the result would have been? Was anyone likely to have been carrying a sniper rifle to this event, to pick him out from 32 floors down?clubgop wrote:If the cops just rush in and get hurt then they are doubly fucked. Hate to break it to you bitch snowflake, actually I love it, but your precious government who you wish to disarm us in favor of can't protect you if it means the loss of their own sweet skin. Yes coward, self defense is your own responsibility, stop trying to steal people's right to defend it.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Well then why do we have police in the first place?? We’re ok with letting gunfire rain down on civilians, because a couple of cops might get hurt? How does that make sense in your brain??clubgop wrote:
I get it here, he had run of the place, he could've set traps set defenses (he did) if he disables the response, he kills more. This wasn't like any other active shooter situation in which dude walks into place start opening up, no he was all set up. Maybe hotels in the future can manipulate lighting, turn sprinklers on, give that mfer something to think about.
Or, was a fellow hotel guest expected to charge into the room and take care of it, while 10 cops huddled in fear outside the door? Which idiotic fantasy are we even talking about?

Find cover, find egress. If in hotel room shelter in place. No fantasy, just cold hard reality. Unlike you that thinks government is the end all be all and absolves one of all personal responsibility. The concert and hotel were gun free zones, your fantasy was already followed and surprise it doesnt work it leaves people to be victimized so you can cry puppy dog tears while attempting to shread the constitution.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Since we're destined to retread this shattered ground once again... and every other room in the hotel, and likely the surrounding buildings and people, as a bunch of drunkards struggled to locate the source of the shooting, and mistook each other for the assailant.Speaker to Animals wrote:You'd have a few thousand round fly into that room.

No, dumbfuck, stop trying to obscure the issue. The police failed to risk their pretty faces to stop mass murder, therefore some bullshit about gun laws, and I support that? No thank you, last thing we need. They always say if armed response place will become shooting gallery, don't prove them right. Find cover, asses situation as best you can, if you can reasonably return fire with accurate aimed and no innocents in the background then do so, other wise get out. Self defense is defense of self, first, last, always.Speaker to Animals wrote:You'd have a few thousand round fly into that room.

Yes, I'm sure that shooting a crowd of armed civilians would result in an organized response to the threat, and not a massacre of stupidity.Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:and every other room in the hotel, and likely the surrounding buildings and people, as a bunch of drunkards struggled to locate the source of the shooting, and mistook each other for the assailant.Speaker to Animals wrote:You'd have a few thousand round fly into that room.
